Dr. Shoufeng Cao began his career at the intersection of agriculture, technology, and supply chain research, driven by a passion for creating systems that are both sustainable and equitable. His early industry-based PhD project, followed by postdoctoral work on national CRC and ARC projects, inspired him to establish DSC NextGen, with a vision to not only transform industries but also empower communities.

The leadership style of our founder is rooted in collaboration, inclusivity, and practical innovation, shaped by years of working across academia, industry, and community contexts.

He has introduced blockchain-enabled provenance systems, dual-token models, and resilience frameworks that are redefining trust and transparency in supply chains. Recognised with Good Design Australia Awards, he has positioned DSC NextGen as a pioneer in intelligent provenance systems to drive sustainable and resilient food futures.
